Privacy policy

2UPS ("2UPS", "we", "us") is a Sydney-based media and merchandise brand. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website (2ups.blurredweekends.com.au and any other address that points to it), why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect and why

• Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message, so we can reply to you.
• Email sign-ups. When you subscribe in the footer or ask to be notified about the 2UPS Radio Show, we keep your email address, the time, and which form you used, so we can send you the update you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.
• Orders. When you buy merchandise, your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and payment details are collected by the checkout you choose (for example Stripe, PayPal, Coinbase Commerce, or our print partner's own store). We never see your full card number. We receive your name, contact details, shipping address and the items ordered so that the order can be fulfilled.
• Fulfilment. Our products are printed to order by Printful. We pass your name, shipping address, contact details and order items to Printful so it can print, pack and ship your order. Printful operates facilities in several countries, including outside Australia.
• Your cart. Items you add to your cart are stored only in your own browser on your device. Nothing about your cart is sent to us until you check out.
• Technical information. Like most websites we keep standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and when. We use these to keep the site secure and running, and we record the IP address with form submissions to prevent abuse. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which also processes this information to protect the site.

Cookies and embedded content

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The SoundCloud players on this site load content from SoundCloud, which may set its own cookies and collect information under SoundCloud's privacy policy. Checkout pages are hosted by the payment provider you choose and are covered by that provider's policy.

Who we share information with

• Printful, to print and ship your order.
• Payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Coinbase Commerce), to take payment.
• Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website.
• SoundCloud, when you play an embedded track.
• Anyone we are required to share it with by law.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Overseas disclosure

Printful, our payment providers, Cloudflare and SoundCloud operate outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe, so your information may be stored or processed overseas when you use those services through this site.

How long we keep information

Contact messages and email sign-ups are kept only as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them to us, then deleted. Order records are kept for as long as Australian tax and consumer law require.

Security

Information you send us is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on a server we control, with access restricted to the people who run 2UPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
